Fantastic coffee! It's hard to find someone who does great coffee on Kauai so this is a must-visit when you want something gooood. Cute shop, great conversations, and the pour overs are delicious. And, there's pie. Highly recommend!
My husband and I were visiting Kauai from Tennessee and had been up since 5 am this morning in particular and needed some dark coffee to get us through the day. We are admittedly coffee snobs so it’s always a bit of a challenge to find excellent coffee wherever we travel. We came upon Dark Roost and decided to test it out to see if it met our standards. My husband ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a soy latte. They were (no joke) the best we’ve had to date. We even started ordering coffee from dark roost as soon as they opened their website and their beans are also incredible. We have become lifelong customers... so do yourself a favor and get some coffee from this company as soon as humanly possible. Thanks dark roost for being eternally awesome.
Just moved to the south side and can’t believe I’ve been missing out on the best coffee on the island. Definitely worth the move.
"Pop-up coffee shop" taken to the extreme! The owner is courteous, friendly, and dedicated to his craft. He pulls great shots and offers a good handful of substitute milks. Definitely worth a visit for those in Kauai!
