We stopped in searching for a water filter for the Na Pali Coast hike and we were taken away by the friendly, kind and genuine service (we think this was provided by the manager or owner). He provided us with tips and input about the island and hiking on the island. Fun little store! Great people working here! The water filter works great :)
I finally stopped by Aloha Exchange and was happily surprised with their inventory of clothing and camping items. While the location at first seems odd, making your way to the west side this is a spot you can pick up apparel and camping or hiking supplies. Living in the garden island, it is difficult to shop for certain items that you typically want to see and feel first hand, not in a virtual marketplace, Aloha Exchange allows for this hands on experience. I have to imagine they would be successful with another shop near the north shore...maybe one day. For now, my pitstop on the way back from the west side will always be at Aloha Exchange, at least to look at the latest pairs of Stance Socks.
